The South Australian Rail Safety Regulator administers and regulates the rail safety regulatory regime as set out in the Rail Safety Act 2007. 
The Regulator aims to promote the continuous improvement of rail safety management in South Australia by oversighting and working with rail transport operators who undertake railway operations in South Australia and by administering the State’s rail safety accreditation regime.
