Firearms Licences - Renewals and Photos

You can renew your Firearms Licence at any Customer Service Centre.

What do you need to do?

A letter explaining the requirements will be sent with your application to renew by the South Australian Police Department. You cannot apply for any other type of Firearms Licence transaction at a Transport SA, Customer Service Centre.

After you have paid the fee and a photo has been taken, a temporary Firearms Licence will be given to you. Your photo licence will be posted to you within four (4) weeks.

What do you need to bring?

  • Application to renew your Firearms Licence, sent to you by the South Australian Police Department.
  • 100 points of identification (explained in the letter).
  • Payment for your Firearms Licence.
